The Algoma Sailing Club operates on funding raised within its membership and hence the club encourages you the general public to join to help keep our costs down and to also learn and discover the fun of sailing. Our "Social Events", "Lazy Sailing", and "River Races" all help to create new friendships and add a bit excitement to fun of Sailing.

Our membership forms can be downloaded and printed, then filled out and postal mailed back to us with an enclosed check. If you have any questions please contact us by email. Our membership form is saved in Adobe Reader Portable Document Format (.pdf) file format and a link below is provided for a free reader program.

Associate Memberships:  

  • Provides limited use of the Clubhouse
  • Use of the three CL-16 boats for learning and practicing
  • Can be introduced to sailing by participating in the river races (hop-aboard) and be on a  stand-by list for boats that need a crew.
  • Access to the Boat Launch and Docks

Senior Membership:  

  • Voting Rights
  • Full Access (keys) to the Clubhouse
  • Use of the three CL-13 boats
  • Access to the Boat Launch and Docks
  • Mooring Buoy (fees determined by footage)

Additional Costs:

  • One time Initiation fee.
  • Haul-In and Haul-Out, fees are based on a per foot charge.
  • Mooring Buoy, fees are based on a per feet charge.
  • Winter Storage, fees are based on a per feet charge per feet. Note all cradles to be removed offsite during sailing season to enlarge the parking lot.

If you are interested in joining, please contact us and so we can answer any questions that you may have and we would like to meet with you personally at our Clubhouse to provide you with tour.
